Making what we needed most

Necessity is the mother of invention. When the demands of relentless work in mountain rescue left our founder, Ethan, feeling drained, he created the sustaining nutrition he was searching for.

20 year experiment

E+PATROL is the result of a 20-year experiment designed to understand how to best nourish the body for a long day of physical and mental demands.

The early stages

Ethan Greaves created this game-changing daily smoothie over his career guiding and working in mountain rescue. Saving lives and making critical calls requires all of your brainpower and energy, and Ethan needed something to keep up with the demands of the mountains. Developed and tested over 40,000 grueling hours in the field, this smoothie has become the perfect fuel for sustaining him throughout the day, keeping him sharp, smart, and strong.

In 2024, Ethan linked up with adventure buddies and CPG veterans, Matt & Lizzi LaCasse (co-founders of Birch Benders), to make this life-changing product available and convenient for people whose days and nights are full to the max.
